Kim Kardashian has made cutout dressing a running theme this fall, moving through one architectural silhouette after another across a string of public appearances. Her look at the Mexico City premiere of All's Fair pushed that theme further than almost anything she had worn before it.
The dress
The gown came from Schiaparelli's The Abyss, part of the house's fall couture collection, crafted in white hand poured liquid silicone rather than traditional fabric. The bodice was molded into structured, anatomically shaped cups connected by a deep plunging neckline that ran well past the ribs, cinching into a snatched waistline before giving way to a tiered fringe skirt layered over sequin dusted tulle.
Styling that let the material do the talking
Law Roach styled the look with simple white sandals and little else, a deliberate choice given how much the dress itself was already doing. With a silhouette this sculptural, any additional jewelry or layering risked competing with the material rather than complementing it.
A fitting cap to a season of cutouts
Where Kardashian's earlier cutout moments this fall leaned on hip slits and waist openings cut into otherwise conventional gowns, this look treated the entire bodice as a single sculptural object. It reads less as a dress with cutouts and more as a wearable study in material and form, a fitting endpoint for a season that has been defined by just how far she has been willing to take the trend.
